WI SHRM 2023
October 11-13, 2023
WI SHRM State Conference
Wednesday Evening Event in Exhibit Hall
Join us Wednesday evening in the Africa East Exhibit Hall as we kick off the world tour of Human Resources. Grab your passport and visit the vendors from around the world to get a stamp in your passport. Once your passport is complete, turn it in at the drum by the entrance doors to the Exhibit Hall for a chance at some great prizes! Prizes not picked up Wednesday night can be picked up at registration between 10:00am and noon on Thursday. After this time, a new drawing will be held for any unclaimed prizes and winner will be announced following dinner on Thursday.
Conference education sessions are followed by breaks to allow time to visit (and thank) conference sponsors, visit the exhibit hall booths and bid on valuable silent auction items to benefit the SHRM Foundation.
That pesky globe-trotting Carmen Sandiego is at it again! Carmen Sandiego snuck away with your important employee files – follow the clues “around the world” in the Exhibit Hall to find where Carmen Sandiego is hiding and get your data back. You will talk to vendors and learn neat facts along the way to finding out where in the world is Carmen Sandiego!
Thursday Dinner & Entertainment
Relax after 2 days of traveling around the world and enjoy a night of dueling pianos. Join us in Africa West for a night of music, entertainment, and lots of laughs! This is a one-of-a-kind class act that should not be missed!

Breathe in, Sweat out! Dragonfly Flow is a type of yoga called Vinyasa. Vinyasa means “breath-synchronized movement.” This style focuses on linking the breath with movement and is often referred to as a moving meditation. The poses flow from one to another in conjunction with the breath. Build strength, increase flexibility, find focus, and have fun. You don’t have to know the poses to start–just try it out! When you connect breath with movement, you give yourself the gift of possibility.
About Kyle Anderson:
My Teaching Style
I love to present accessible opportunities for each student to realize their own moments of personal grace and growth. My style is upbeat and purposeful, encouraging students to explore and rethink their edges, both mental and physical, and perhaps peek past them to witness a glimpse of their future selves.
My flows begin with a firm foundation in mindfulness, joyful focus, self-compassion, and breath. We build from there, fostering confidence, openness, and strength as we work towards empowering peak moments, offering opportunities for each student to find and express their unique voice.
I strongly encourage everyone to take what they need, and know that is what is most important, whether that is pushing their edge, freestyling, or taking some much needed and deserved rest on their mat-- I will support you!
My yoga journey began on April 3, 2020. I spent the next year teaching myself at home with the help of a couple apps and LOTS of googling. I practiced nearly every day, and on my one year anniversary celebrated by coming to Dragonfly on an intro trial-- and fell in love with the studio, staff, and community. I continue to practice near daily, loving the space and comradery at DFly. In March of 2022, I completed my RYT-200 training here at DFly and applied as a teacher. I continue my journey of exploring and expanding my Yoga experience every chance I get!
Extended Side Angle- There is so much you can feel and do in this pose! Need a break? Rest your elbow on your knee. Amp it up? Extend arms long or half bind and open up. Feeling like a challenge? Move into full bind or Bird of Paradise! Feel like Flying? Lift off to Half moon. Awesome.
“Live as if you were to die tomorrow; learn as if you were to live forever."
Why I Love Dragonfly
Sooo many reasons-- From the first moment I stepped through the door I felt like I was part of something truly special. The community, staff, and instructors are all so friendly, fun, kind, and inspiring. I smile every time I walk through the studio doors.
Little Known Fact About Me
I was born in a car-- even says so on my birth certificate for place of birth!
