Biography
Hi, I’m Wade Schenck. I am the current Past-President for Chippewa Valley SHRM. I was previously the President and VP of Programming with the chapter. In my professional career I am currently a Global HR Manager for Advantek, a Semiconductor Logistics’ Manufacturer based out of Eau Claire. I oversee sites in California, Minnesota, Germany, and Sweden currently for HR functions. Previously I held roles in state government with the states of Wisconsin and Minnesota in the workforce development space as well as HR in the hospitality industry and even eight years in sales in the retail industry. I hold Bachelors in HRM with a Leadership Certificate from UW-Eau Claire and an MBA from Saint Mary’s University. Outside of work activities I enjoy spending time with my family and exploring in nature. I enjoy camping, kayaking, running, and cycling. I am an active member of my community including volunteering at my kids’ school, coaching my son’s soccer team as well as being part of multiple non-profit professional boards in the area. My goal both personally and professionally lies with creating a dynamic and engaging environment in whatever endeavor I seek.
Additional Information
The Workforce Readiness Director monitors and evaluates on a continuing basis state and local activities concerning workforce readiness issues, and works with chapter workforce readiness advocates to plan and encourage chapter involvement and activities impacting the workforce readiness arena.
