STATUS: Temporary full time (two-month to three-month assignment through at least the end of December)
LOCATION: Anywhere within the United States, strong preference for candidates in the Madison, WI area

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

The Evident Change human resources team seeks a temporary HRIS analyst to help with some discrete tasks. The national average hourly rate for this position ranges between $29 and $32; compensation may vary from this range depending on where the employee lives.

WHAT ASSIGNMENTS NEED TO BE COMPLETED?

Get ready to:
  • Compile and clean data and submit the federal EEO-1 report and Illinois and California pay equity reports;
  • Set up benefit profiles in ADP for open enrollment;
  • Analyze staff compensation trends; and
  • Assist with FMLA management.
 

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL WORKWEEK LOOK LIKE?

  • Serve as data and systems administrator for the HR team, including but not limited to data collection/analysis, reporting, and auditing. 
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and other data visualization tools to communicate findings to the HR team and provide recommendations.
  • Compile accurate and timely data, data analysis, and reports for various projects and purposes and for regular, ad hoc, and compliance purposes (e.g., employee surveys, employment records, government labor statistics, internal data reporting, leadership reporting requests). Actively contribute to providing insight into data trends. 
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of employee data and systems at all stages of the employee life cycle.
  • Enter, manage, and validate data as needed. 
 

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO YOU NEED?

  • Excellent problem solver with a willingness to tackle new challenges, research solutions, evaluate pros and cons, present findings, and make recommendations for resolution. 
  • Meticulous attention to detail in all areas of work. 
  • Organizational ability to set priorities, organize workload, handle multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines. 
  • Ability to maintain the utmost confidentiality, trustworthiness, and discretion. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and HRIS platforms, preferably ADP Workforce Now.
  • Commitment to equity, social justice, and personal and professional development in these areas.
  • Comfort working with people from a variety of backgrounds and cultural identities.
