“SHRM’s impact on the world of work is made possible by the dedication and leadership of our chapters and state councils,” said Johnny C. Taylor, Jr., SHRM-SCP, President and Chief Executive Officer of SHRM. “These Excel Awards are not only a celebration of the great work done by these Wisconsin-based chapters—it’s recognition of their focus, innovation, and determination to create better workplaces. Their HR leadership is truly exemplary.”
“I have had the opportunity to visit a number of our affiliate chapters in Wisconsin, so far this year, and personally experience the work that each chapter is putting into providing their respective communities with programming, resources, and networking opportunities to elevate HR for their local members and workplaces, “ said Jeff Palkowski, SHRM-SCP, WI SHRM State Director. “Each chapter that was recognized by SHRM as an Excel Award-winning chapter should be proud of its work and celebrate the achievement with its members. I especially want to acknowledge our five Platinum Excel Award-winning chapters, who have gone above and beyond to receive the highest recognition from SHRM. Well done!”
Each chapter receives national recognition through SHRM publications and events, an official award logo for use in communications, and tools to help share this achievement with its members and community.
