Recognized as one of the Best Places to Work by Madison Magazine and just named "Madison's Fave " for Favorite Local Dental Clinic by Brava Magazine, Dental Health Associates has an immediate opening for a Human Resource Assistant to work at our Gammon Clinic (7001 Old Sauk Road, Madison). They typical schedule will be Monday - Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm. Dental Health Associates is a dentist owned group providing top notch dental care at our seven locations in the Madison, Wisconsin. This position will provide support and project coordination for the HR team including a wide variety of tasks that may include activities associated with benefits administration, recruiting, employee on-boarding, compliance and employee recordkeeping. Responsible for enduring efficient and accurate processes around reporting and recordkeeping, maintenance of employment records, mining sensitive and confidential data and preparation of reports from data collected. Provides support to the department as a source of information for employees around policies and procedures. Assists with employee relations, exit interviews, unemployment claims and general HR policy interpretation/administration. In accordance with procedures, furnishes information to authorized persons and/or agencies. Ability to manage multiple requests while maintaining strong customer service. May assume additional projects/responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications include an Associates degree or equivalent experience in business, human resources or related field preferred, 1+ years of Human Resources experience, Intermediate working knowledge of HR policies, procedures and employment law: Title VII, FMLA, ADA, ADEA, OSHA, EEOC, etc., and experience handling sensitive employee relations matters with discretion and protecting confidential information/records.
