We are seeking a high energy HR professional with excellent communication skills and ability to stay focused in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for developing, implementing and administering Human Resources plans, policies and programs related to recruitment, selection and retention of employees, compensation and benefits, safety, worker’s compensation, HRIS, equal employment opportunity, training and organization/employee development. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field and 3 – 5 years of HR Generalist experience.

Job Description
Essential Accountabilities
-
Administer various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel; assist in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.

Administer compensation programs, administer and monitor performance evaluation program and recommend improvements or revisions as necessary.

Conduct recruitment for non-exempt positions and oversee temporary staffing requirements; conduct new employee orientation; write and place advertisements, conduct pre-employment testing, prepare offers of employment and coordinate physicals and drug screens for new hires.

Administer employee benefit programs including enrollment and billing.

Coordinate employee events and services.
-
Administer and coordinate the on-site safety programs, events, and reporting.

Provide employee relations counseling to managers supervisors and employees. Assist with disciplinary documentation; participate in disciplinary and termination meetings.

Investigate employee complaints and document findings and outcomes.
-
Design and lead/facilitate orientation and training programs to meet defined organizational objectives.

Assist with development of department goals, objectives and systems that align with corporate mission, vision, values, strategic initiatives and annual business plans.

Maintain employee information and records, including personnel files, investigation documentation and meeting records.

Keep abreast of new legal developments and benchmark trends in Human Resources. Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continuous improvement in efficiency of department and services performed.

Maintain Human Resources Information Systems (Oracle, Kronos, etc.) records and compile reports from database.

Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment and employment law, counsel managers and supervisors with regard to legal and compliance issues.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field and minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience
