Description: | POSITION SUMMARY
The Human Resources / Payroll Coordinator provides excellent customer service to associates in the areas of HR policy, benefit, and payroll questions. The HR / Payroll Coordinator also provide regular maintenance and oversight to HRIS (Workday), timekeeping system (Kronos), and the general payroll process (the actual payroll processing occurs at corporate). This individual will partner with the HR team, supervisors, and other departments to complete documentation, reporting, and compliance standards in accordance with company mission and goals. The HR/Payroll Coordinator will also support various employee engagement initiatives as well as promote company values.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Qualified candidates will have a minimum of an associate’s degree in a related field and 3-5 years HR/Payroll experience. Will consider candidates with a bachelor’s degree in an HR-related discipline with less experience. Prior payroll experience required.
SKILL and KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no supervisory responsibility.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Mostly an office environment with occasional visits to the manufacturing floor. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Travel requirements are infrequent.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Regularly required to sit or stand, reach, bend and move about the facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
