Our Talent Staffing Recruiter II executes recruitment processes and programs to deliver a talented and diverse work force to meet business needs and provide an excellent candidate experience. This includes sourcing diverse qualified exempt candidates through talent staffing lifecycle.  This role is accountable for delivering customized recruiting solutions for multiple lines of business throughout WPS. This position fosters consultative relationships to create and deliver effective sourcing and recruiting strategies to fill current vacancies and build a robust pipeline of talent. Represent WPS brand at community outreach events and recruiting activities.

Characteristics and Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies that meet business needs from staffing budget, candidate validation and selection, offer generation, and onboarding.
  • Proactively research and identify innovative sources and recruit candidates using a variety of sources with goal to identify highest quality talent within budgeted amounts.
  • Represent WPS positively with candidates, third party recruiters, and professional organizations in all community outreach and recruitment activities.
  • Identify and track performance of sourcing resources and strategies and share best-practice information within department.
  • Research and analyze geographical and demographical trends specific to each operating office. Make recommendations and adjust strategies based on those trends.
  • Work with hiring managers and interview teams to ensure job requirements are clearly understood and candidates are assessed using appropriate criteria. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with community job placement services, external staffing vendors, universities, and organizations to facilitate recruiting process and meet hiring goals.
  • Ensure candidate has a positive experience during the recruitment and selection process, communicating with potential candidates on a regular basis to maintain candidate interest in WPS.
  • Provide feedback and coaching to candidates regarding career opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain consultative relationships with hiring managers to provide expertise in coaching and guidance in recruitment methods and technologies.
  • Provide support to Talent Staffing team members and across all HR functions.  Lead or support staffing process improvement projects.
  • Manage recruitment life cycle for all assigned requisitions. Update Applicant Tracking database as needed and use information to provide data for metrics reporting.
  • Conduct interviews, document results, and drive hiring process with hiring manager and interviewing team. Maintain metrics to measure results.
  • Develop and maintain an active applicant pool of qualified candidates for potential/future openings.
  • Work with management and candidate to facilitate moving and relocation packages. 
  • Stay informed of corporate business goals and strategy as it pertains to hiring of people and work with Talent Development team to coordinate staffing assessments and documentation.
  • Oversee interviewing, testing, and hiring processes to ensure adherence with all equal employment opportunity (EEO) legislation, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and other government compliance requirements.
  • Participate in educational opportunities and network with industry peers to identify and maintain strong awareness of recruitment best practices.

Qualifications
Work experience

Required

  • 5 or more years in Human Resources, with a minimum of three (3) years in a high volume recruitment environment implementing and utilizing a variety of talent staffing techniques
  • Knowledge of HRIS/applicant tracking systems, basic HR measurement, and process improvement techniques

Education

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Marketing or related field OR equivalent post high school and/or related work experience
