Description: Food Fight is looking for an energetic, motivated Recruiting Coordinator. The Recruiting Coordinator will act as the liaison in our interview process, working with the hiring managers, applicants and more. While the main focus will be on administrative tasks, relationship building and process facilitation are key pieces, too.
  • Flexible schedule (between 20-30 hours per week, could grow into full-time), and compensation is $24/hour.
  • Remote or in-office (employee’s choice) majority of time, but attendance for some in-person hiring events is required.

You’ll spend time on the following:
  • You will ensure that our fast-paced recruiting environment runs smoothly
  • Implement and execute various sourcing strategies to attract talent (career fairs, job ads)
  • You will job post on various job search and social media platforms based on the staffing needs of our restaurants
  • Assist with sourcing, identifying, and contacting new applicants and phone screens
  • You will coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers
  • You will craft prep documents, interview confirmations, offer letters, expense reports, etc.
  • Manage scheduling through Microsoft Teams
  • Manage our documentation and tracking system by documenting updates, and running reports to track progress throughout the recruiting life cycle
  • Respond quickly and efficiently to urgent tasks in an environment with constantly changing priorities (such as scheduling changes, urgent or confidential hiring needs, etc.)
  • Connect and build relationships with hourly applicant sources to fill positions
  • You will book, organize, and attend career fairs and lead “open calls” for hiring
We’re excited about you if you:
  • Administrative, recruiting, or HR experience (preferred, not required)
  • Experience in social media platforms (Instagram, facebook, twitter, linkedin)
  • Have excellent creative writing skills
  • Fluent in Spanish, with excellent Spanish writing skills (preferred, not required)
  • You understand Microsoft Teams and Excel, or pick up on software programs quickly
  • You know how to establish rapport with people in and out of an organization
  • You have strong calendar management skills, including the coordination of complex meetings and scheduling across numerous internal and external contacts
  • You take an entrepreneurial approach to task management and have the ability to take control and manage tasks independently
  • You have an impeccable attention to detail and a high level of discretion and maturity
  • You’re a curious and autonomous self-starter
  • You have experience responding quickly to requests and adjusting schedules on the fly to accommodate hiring needs
