New Diversity Website
WI SHRM would like to announce the release of our “Accommodate in Place Initiative” website, AccommodateinPlace.com.

It is designed to be a supportive platform which offers resources to HR professionals to help transform workplace culture, delivered in a straight forward package.

Currently, the site offers the location porthole for our WI SHRM and St. Norbert College Climate Survey, in which we are collecting data about current levels of support for employees from a DE&I perspective.

We introduce the Four Areas of Accommodation to help our members reframe how their role supporting people, actually translates to better health outcomes and a more inclusive environment, where everyone can bring their entire self to work.

The HR Story section delivers real world examples from our members, detailing how helping their people at work made a difference.  We are looking for more participation, please feel free to add yours’s at https://accommodateinplace.com/hero-stories/.

Finally, the website is also a landing space and a resource to the best information available in regards to accommodating people with apparent and non-apparent disabilities brought on by the impact of the pandemic.

Please check it out and let us know what you think.  We are looking to provide the most amount of value to our members, especially in these circumstances.

We want everyone to be able to get back to flourishing at work as soon as they can.  Let’s help support our people.   Sometimes it’s Us.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out.

Diversity, Inclusion and Workflex Director
