Description:

The Human Resources Coordinator performs a variety of administrative functions within the department including payroll, benefits and HRIS maintenance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Administration & Process Improvements: Provides administrative leadership with payroll and benefits. Supports the HR Team with employee engagement, performance management, and more. Analyzes and recommends improvements of HR processes and programs.
  • HRIS, Metrics, and Reports Management: Oversees the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). Maintains and updates employee records and ensures data accuracy for preparation of HR metrics and reports.
  • Compliance: Demonstrates an understanding of Human Resources policies, procedures, and practices. Provides administrative leadership with annual filings and audits.

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field

 

Certifications and/or Licenses: PHR or SHRM-CP certification, preferred.

 

Relevant Experience & Training:

  • 1-3 years’ progressive HR experience.
  • Strong computer skills required, including proficiency in Excel and Word, and working knowledge of database programs; HRIS and ATS proficient.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to partner with all levels of management and administration.
  • Demonstrated ability to recommend process improvements.
