NOTE: This position can be filled at the Staff or Senior level and we will assess applicants based on skills and years of relevant experience. The Benefits Analyst ensures that Enterprise-wide benefit plans are properly administered and accurately communicated. This position will support the communication and branding strategy related to all TDS enterprise benefit plans and programs. The Benefits Analyst focuses on annual enrollment, plan changes, wellness programs, and other communication campaigns. This position also helps coordinate and execute the strategy with vendor(s), consultant partners and internal stakeholders. The Benefits Analyst develops, documents, and maintains administrative processes/procedures and takes initiative to implement and/or provide recommendations to continuously improve products and services. This position is also responsible for completing other key projects (i.e. compliance, participant inquiries) and managing vendor relationships (i.e. print fulfillment).

Staff Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field -OR- 4+ year’s equivalent combination of applicable professional work experience
• 1+ years employee benefits, human resources or communications experience; benefits administration and compliance experience a strong plus
• Knowledge of benefit related policies, practices and applicable laws preferred

Senior Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field -OR- 4+ year’s equivalent combination of applicable professional work experience
• 3+ years employee benefit administration, human resources or similar function experience including strong working knowledge of benefits administration, communications, and compliance (i.e. ERISA)
• Knowledge of benefit related policies, practices and applicable laws
• Strong working knowledge of trends, issues, and legislation affecting employee benefits
• Proven ability to develop and execute medium to large-scale projects, mentor/train co-workers and strive to ensure team members are actively engaged
• Benefit certification(s) (i.e. Certified Employee Benefits Specialist “CEBS”) a plus

Other Qualifications:
• Excellent interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a superior attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Power Point skills
• Experience with SharePoint or Wiki pages preferred • Ability to prioritize, work on multiple tasks, set goals and consistently deliver timely and accurate products and services
• Knowledge of SAP, HR/Payroll systems, processes and reports a plus TDS provides wireless products and services; cable and wireline broadband, TV and voice services; and hosted and managed services nationwide through our U.S. Cellular®, TDS Telecom®, OneNeck IT Solutions® and Suttle Straus® brands.
