| Description: | The Alliant Energy Human Resources department has an immediate opening for a Payroll Operations Analyst (may be filled at a Senior level) at our corporate headquarters in Madison,WI. This critical role is responsible for bi-weekly, multi-state payroll operations for a 4,000 employee organization. Primary duties in this role include, but are not limited to assistance with payroll processing, payroll tax filings, regulatory compliance reporting, W2 processing, special pay situations, time reporting validation, tier II/III customer support and response to payroll data requests. The ideal candidate for this position will possess previous experience working for a company that performs in-house payroll processing or will have worked for a payroll processing firm. Qualified candidates will have experience with payroll processing software (SAP, PeopleSoft, ERP, Oracle, ect.) and possess a high level of expertise with Microsoft Excel. Additionally, a high level of attention to detail is paramount to this role.
