Description: | The Wisconsin Historical Society is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to provide strategic and innovative support to division partners and leaders. In this role, you will support Agency business goals throughout the organization through recruitment, training, and employee relations. This position and the Human Resources Team will be instrumental in ensuring the agency realizes its strategic goal to create a more disciplined and effective operating model. The Team provides critical services to assist WHS in reaching its vision to enrich and transform lives through unparalleled access to history. This position will have the opportunity to assist in defining and improving HR processes and creating lasting value for WHS. Position Summary: Under the general supervision of the Human Resources Director, this position performs complex professional human resources duties for the Wisconsin Historical Society in the areas of recruitment and selection, compensation analysis, training, employee relations, and other related personnel activities. Serving as the business partner to specific divisions, this position provides customized expertise to advance agency and division goals through human capital management. The position consults with employees and management of all levels in all areas of personnel issues and policies.
