Whether you are a current WI chapter, state council, or student leader (or will be one soon), we invite you to attend this year’s Wisconsin State SHRM Leadership conference at the Lodge at Cedar Creek Resort and Conference Center in Rothschild, WI. This year’s conference brings a mix of topics and discussions aimed at giving attendees a better understanding of their leadership roles in SHRM and within their organizations. This conference is an exciting opportunity to network with other chapter leaders from around the state and get ideas on how to improve your chapter while refining your own leadership skills. The cost for this conference is $75.00.

Hotel Information
A block of rooms is being held at the Lodge at Cedar Creek Resort and Conference Center under the name of SHRM for Thursday August 9th. When making your reservation, you can receive the group rate of $79.00 (single occupancy, double queen suite) plus tax. There is a $20.00 additional charge per person per room for up to two additional room guests. Please make your reservations by calling the hotel directly at 1-715-241-6300 or 1-888-365-6343. The block of rooms is being held through July 7th. It is recommended that you make your reservations as soon as possible since the conference hotel sold out last year.

Activities
Wausau Pub Tour
Thursday Night 8:00 pm - 10:30 pm
“Soak up” all the sites and have some fun with your SHRM colleagues while visiting some pubs in Wausau. Your first stop on this bus tour will be at a local microbrewery with a large outdoor deck that includes an optional tour to learn about their brew making process. Additional stops will prove delightful as you see the sites and sample the entertainment. Guests will be able to have a beverage or two at each stop. Beverage costs are not provided with your conference registration. The bus will be able to bring interested guests back to the hotel following the first stop at approximately 9:30 pm.

- Take Exit 185
- Turn a right onto Business 51 North

- Off of Highway 29, exit onto Highway 39/51 South
